Uncle Goth's Visit

"Uncle, you're here!" Griffin cried out happily as he flew right up to the large Vampyrum and wrapped his wings around his neck in a warm and tight hug.

Goth gave his own joyful laugh as he returned the affection, "Heyyyy, my little amigo! It's so good to see you again!" The Vampyrum smiled, hoisting up his nephew into the air and getting a good look at how much the little hybrid had grown.

"My my, Griffin, we've only been gone a few months and already you're becoming an adult!" Goth said with praise as he smiled up at the young Silverwing, who's own smile never left his face.

"I'm not that old yet, Uncle! I'm still a pup!" Griffin giggled.

This is another idea that was inspired by , about Good!Goth and Griffin becoming friends. Then I thought, why not make it a diabeetus inducing idea, and make a family-like relationship with these two? Goth being a surrogate/adoptive uncle-figure to him?

In this pic, lets say it takes place many months after Goth is freed from Zotz' influence, Goth and Throbb (along with some of their royal guard, of course) decide to visit their friends in the north. The last time they visited, Goth was introduced to a newly-born Griffin, who he quickly grew attached to after Marina and Shade asked if he would like to hold their new son. At the same moment, the newborn Griffin immediately took a liking to the large bat, as if attachment was already forming between the two.

Shade then surprises Goth with a simple, but very heartfelt question: Would you and Throbb like to be his uncles?

The question caught Goth off-guard, but after a few seconds, it slowly brought tears of happiness to the Vampyrum's eyes.

I plan to do more sketches of this idea! Most likely, I'll do one where Goth meets the newborn Griffin.

I'm really interested in coloring how Goth would look like after he's aged. Going to add a streak or two of gray in his mane. And his beard. X3
